Ásvallalaug

Ásvallalaug Swimming Pool is one of the largest aquatic centres in Iceland, covering approximately 6,000 m² in the Vellir neighbourhood of Hafnarfjörður. Opened in September 2008, the modern facility serves as a hub for swimming, fitness, and community activities. The complex is home to Gym Heilsa, a 600 m² fitness centre, Ásmegin Physiotherapy, and the club facilities of both the Hafnarfjörður Swimming Club and the Fjarði Sports Club, which run extensive programmes at the pool. A wide variety of activities take place at Ásvallalaug, including water polo, volleyball, diving club training, swimming technique courses, aqua fitness, school swimming lessons, and regular swimming club practices.
