Suðurbæjarlaug

Suðurbæjarlaug Swimming Pool is a true gem in Hafnarfjörður. The outdoor area features a 25-metre swimming pool, 12.5 metres wide, along with three hot tubs, a steam bath, a mushroom fountain, a children's wading pool, two waterslides, and two cold plunge pools with different temperatures. A scenic walking path through the pool garden is also popular with visitors. Indoors, there is a specially designed teaching pool that also serves as an excellent children's pool. In addition to the standard changing rooms, the pool offers dedicated changing facilities for both men and women equipped with saunas and infrared cabins. Outdoor changing rooms are also available for those who prefer to change under the open sky.

Located in the basement of the complex is Gym Heilsa, a fully equipped fitness centre. Suðurbæjarlaug also hosts a variety of activities, including school swimming lessons, SH swimming club training, baby swimming classes, aqua fitness, and yoga sessions. The building is also home to Nuddhofið, which offers professional massage services.
