Norðmannahringur í Heiðmörk
The Norðmannahringur (Norwegian Trail) is a nearly 2 km circular walking route through a diverse natural landscape. Along the way, the trail passes several scenic resting spots, including Furulundur (Pine Grove), Grenilundur (Spruce Grove), and Vígsluflöt (Consecration Meadow). On fair-weather days, the trails can become quite busy. Cyclists are asked to take extra care and remember that pedestrians always have priority on the trail. The Norðmannahringur (Norwegian Trail) forms part of the Ríkishringur (King's Trail).
Heiðmörk Nature Reserve is managed by the Reykjavík Forestry Association, a non-profit organisation. For more information, visit heidmork.is.
