Guðmundarlundur

Guðmundarlundur is a delightful outdoor recreation area on the outskirts of Kópavogur, where afforestation began around 1960, resulting in a thriving forest today. The park features a playground, a frisbee golf course, and mini-golf courses, with barbecue facilities available for rent at a reasonable fee. It provides a green oasis where both children and adults can play and relax. Guðmundarlundur also includes a garden dedicated to Hermann Lundholm, the first horticulturist hired by the Municipality of Kópavogur. The facilities in Guðmundarlundur can be rented for gatherings and events.
